DATE EXTENDED

Mon Sep 4, 2006, 12:30 PM

I allow all deviants to use my textures in prints from the DeviantART Print Shop

We have decided to extend the date of the Ultimate Texture Contest. There was not a lot of intrest/promotion of the contest, so hopefully we can get a few more entries with a long deadline! The new ending date for the contest will be OCTOBER 20TH!. Make sure you keep that date in mind!

The texture community is not a very well known one, however, there are many great texture artists hidden in there. Not only is the goal of this contest to make the texturing community more known, but to stress the many amazing textures people can make with just their cameras and photoshop.

Rules:
- Must be submitted to Community Projects ---> Contests ---> Ultimate Texture Contest
- Must be a photographed texture, mixing textures ARE ALLOWED (if you do not know what mixing is--make sure you read the tutorial that was posted above).
- Up to 3 entries per deviant
- Must be submitted after the 23rd of July, and before (not on) the 20th of October
- Must be taken/made for this contest -- NO old textures!!
- If you do not adhere to any of these rules, all of your entries will be disqualified.

For more information about textures and how to photograph/mix them, please visit this tutorial::
